Thank you for visiting MaRynasko.com! I am a recent graduate of Skidmore College beginning to venture into professional artist communities.

Rather than identify myself by medium I prefer to focus on ideas. That being said, I do gravitate most often toward drawing and textiles as modes of communication. The simplicity of these materials takes the focus off my presence as artist/creator. The work is less about what it is and more about what it means. Issues of gender, the feminine identity, time, and labor inform my most recent work.

I also studied sociology while at Skidmore, and the inequalities of our society haunt my choice to be an artist. I am constantly striving to leave the private space of a studio and involve myself with larger communities. Please contact me with any projects you might need an extra pair of hands on. I'd love to help however I can.
